EXPELLED: No Intelligence Allowed

It’s lonely being a scientist who finds belief in God as a probability.  In fact, it might even be a very bad career move…

Expelled: No Intelligence Allowed is a film that everyone should consider viewing.

In acadamia circles, believing in a creator of the universe (i.e. God) is considered so stupid, so committing intellectual suicide, that scientists and teachers that confess that their must be a creator are losing respect and their jobs.

Chair for the Public Understanding of Science at Oxford University, Dr. Dawkins, claims that real freedom begins the day you eliminate God from the equation of your life.

Dawkins believes that anyone who believes in God is both foolish and illogical.

So where did everything come from?

You can’t look at a watch and claim that it was put together by accident.  Dawkins will give you that.

So how does he make sense of it all?  He suggests that it IS LOGICALLY possible that life on earth (DNA) was “seeded” BY ALIENS FROM OTHER PLANETS…

He is serious.

    Let’s be clear.

What this movie means to proclaim is not belief in God, but disbelief in evolution — a theory which has nothing to say about God one way or the other.

The movie used dishonest means to interview the scientists featured in the movie, and none of the people who are claimed to have lost their jobs over disbelief in evolution actually *did*.

“Science leads you to killing people.” — Ben Stein

Ben Stein is not a scientist, nor does he see a problem with casting aspersions on all scientists. If you are worried about being lonely as a scientist who believes in God, Ben Stein makes a poor ally.

You don’t seem to understand what “logically possible” means here. Or that Dawkins said this in response to Stein asking him to think up what the best scientific case for intelligent design would be.
