Youth Crew’s Blog

Here are some pictures from our last youth crew meeting! For those who where not there I will explain what is going on. We are starting a new game (message) that makes learning the bible fun. The game is based on the theme of “Who want to be a millionaire”. To start off the game I asked our pastor (Vince) and one of our leaders (Jana) to be the first contestants. They were competing against each other to see who could answer the most biblical questions, the prize was for bragging rights only. As you know in the game the more questions you answer the more money you make. Well the end results were, our pastor was able to achieve $500,000 ( He missed the last question for 1 million dollars!). I  can not remember what Jana’s dollar value was but she did very well also (but Vince did win). During the game we took commercial breaks just like the real game on tv. During the breaks I had prearranged some of our youth members to come up and do makeup and hair on the contestants and myself.

We now are going to pass out a sheet of question (all from the bible) and each week have one youth be the contestant. After everyone has been given a chance to achieve the highest amount of money in the game by answering the most questions, we are going to present the winner with a nice gift (to be determined).
